Hello everyone.
I’m sorry I have not been posting much. My mother is still recovering from her strokes and surgery. She’s much better, but there are still a few lingering issues.
I also have been working hard on editing Destiny and prepping it. I have to learn a whole new formatting software which is already causing me headaches despite it being in the long run much better than Word. I am almost done editing, mostly. I may run a few other reports on it, then move on to formatting it to set up the preorder. I probably won’t get the preorder up much sooner than the end of May, only due to certain issues (mostly money related as usual). Also waiting for the final draft for the Anglii illustration.
The next round of advertising I would like to do for Destiny is to record myself reading a few chapters and post them on YouTube and Rumble. Which ones, I have no idea. As soon as I can figure that out, I’ll set up a few days of recording because Lord knows I am too much of a perfectionist.
Pop Culture Corner- Really Nintendo
I, like everyone else, was so excited by the Nintendo direct for the Switch 2. Then when I saw the price for the games…
Now, not all are going to be $80, but now with the key code insanity, I am not sure how things are going to go. I won’t be paying for just a half game on a physical copy. (If you want to learn what that is all about, I recommend Aero, Switch Force and Austinjohnplays. They break it all down perfectly).
I will myself just save up and play Pokémon Legends Z-A for the Switch, because I cannot afford to get a Switch 2, not with all that is going on with my mom as trying to self publish. I will save up and get one when Gen 10 of Pokémon comes out. I hope there will be a special edition for it, as it is a big anniversary year for Pokémon. I haven’t had a special edition Pokémon console since my 3DS, so here’s hoping. I couldn’t afford nor wanted to deal with data transfer for the Scarlet/Violet switch.
There are lots of nice things with the Switch 2, and I would love to play the new Mario Kart and DK games, but my focus and love will always put Pokémon first so it is what it is.

I pretty much have no love for the live action remakes that Disney has been throwing out. But I must admit, the Stitch one is beating my expectations. My brother loves Stitch so we’ll go watch it. But his enjoyment may depend on if the “punch buggy” line isn’t in it. I really hope it is. It’s one of his favorite lines. They messed up Lion king so bad I hope for his sake.
There’s more I’d like to cover, but I’ve got to keep things short to work on Destiny. Thank you everyone for your continued support.
