A little bit about me

I am a graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania, with a degree in secondary education English. After discovering that I did not want to be an English teacher. I was unemployed for a year, trying to figure out what to do, as I worked on writing my book and helping my family.

After going to my first Young Single Adult event in West Virginia (I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints), I got a call from one of the libraries I’d left a resume with. I had the job and was working by the Thursday. I worked for 6 years as the Teen Librarian. Cooking, crafting, and other various things a librarian does.

But, after 6 years, I knew I did not want to deal with the Education system anymore. I loved my students, but it was too much. So, I quit to focus on the one thing I’ve loved doing since the age of three: write clean, adventure-filled stories.

My first self-published work was Destiny’s Call to Arms. I am currently working on Book Two, Quest for the Magic, as well as my next standalone YA mystery novel, Camp Disaster. Going to need lots of Kit Kats for this.

I live in the deep woods of western Pennsylvania with my family. I love writing, reading, listening to music and playing with our many cats. My main assistants in my writing are my cats Éowyn and Elinor Dashwood.
