Last post before Petfest! I will be in the Bandstand Park in Franklin, PA, this Saturday, September 13th, 2025. I will have copies of Never Alone and Destiny’s Call to Arms in both paperback and hardcover. I will not have the rubber ducks or Edgar or my little dragon because there will be lots of dogs, and I don’t want to risk anything getting chewed. Edgar especially looks like a great chew toy.
Again, I feel as though I will get more doggie kisses than sales, and that’s fine. There is a basket raffle in which I donated two baskets, one with a signed Never Alone, and one with a signed Destiny. They have themed treats plus mugs and some other bits.
Applefest will be next! I am extra excited to do it because a friend will be selling his books as well. More on all that in the coming weeks.
The whole family has been sick since last week, and only now are just getting over it. Even so, I was able to finish editing the first draft of Quest. It’s going to be awhile before draft two is done; there’s lots of outlining that now has to be done because of certain plot issues. I’ve got a few things already sorted, but there is one big whole that I am not sure how to shift. So that’s the latest update on that.

The mega evolution reveals have been cool, and the Malamar one was creepy. It’s cool; it makes me think of War of the Worlds with Mars Attacks and Megamind. I will not use it, probably because I have never liked it, and the mega of it has me more freaked out of the only canon evil Pokémon. *gun cocks beloved Mega Absol named Gabriel *
Hopefully, we will keep seeing more as things go along. So far, the leaks have been right on the mega designs, which makes me annoyed because I saw a glimpse of Feraligatr and it’s AWFUl. My boy Bubble deserves so much better, and I really hope it really isn’t that one…
Anyway, hope to see everyone there at the park! I’ll have dog and cat treats to give out!
