A little back story….
I grew up on mysteries and one of the first things I ever wrote were mysteries (poor written Mary Kate and Ashley knock off characters but still). I was that five year old who would watch Sesame street in the morning then watch PBS Masterpiece Murder Mystery on Sunday with my mom. Though I do enjoy writing Fantasy probably more, my first love will always be murder mysteries. I will be writing and release a set of stand alone novels in-between Dragon Heart Chronicles books. Will be needing a large back of Kit-Kats for this.

Summary:
Sixteen-year-old Abigail Davis, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is attending a prestigious boarding school while her parents are away for their latest military contract.
She finds friends with her dorm mates and love with Satoru Mori. With friends come enemies in high school; Sarah Callow becomes incensed with Abigail after the cheerleader fails to get Satoru to go with her to the bonfire. He instead takes her.
The cheer squad grabs Abigail to teach her a lesson, but when Abigail’s friends rescue her, they stumble upon one of the school nurses… and she’s dead. After that, things escalate when Abigail is framed for a string of offenses, including smuggling in beer and hacking the school’s social media. Then a classmate is poisoned.
But why? And why are they framing Abigail?
Abigail will not give up this mystery. She will save her academic record and reputation. As she digs deeper, she finds other students who spiraled out of control for no reason; the villain’s goal for Abigail is maybe her own death. She will need her friends close and her faith strong to overcome this.
This YA mystery has a plucky heroine created from the love of Nancy Drew and an old-fashioned mystery intrigue done in a modern setting.

Bonus: Satoru’s POV
As a hard core Twilight fan, the idea of writing Never Alone from the boyfriend’s POV came to me at some point. It was a nice exercise actually, I caught a few story errors thanks to doing this. However, I am probably not going to do a full Midnight Sun with this. There is a bit of research I would have to do for certain scenes and I just don’t have the time to do it when I have other novels to work on. For your reading enjoyment, I’ll leave you the draft of Satoru’s Never Alone. I never was able to come up with a better title for it…. hope you enjoy reading from the hunky violinist’s perceptive. I will post the rest later, for now just the first few chapters.
NOTE: this is a rough draft so there will probably lots of errors and I didn’t full update all the dialog to go with the published version of Never alone. So please don’t judge me too harshly.
Coming Soon……stay tuned for…..

To tease the story:
Murder and oh yeah, tornadoes.
