Wanted to drop a few things:
1) Spent a bit yesterday to create a map for book 3 (because of being referenced in book 2). It’s not perfectly done, but it’s enough for now. I am done with this round of editing for Quest. Next is the printout and scribble-through with red pen, and highlighter editing. But before I do that, I’ll be letting it sit for the rest of the week. I’ll be focusing on getting the Camp Disaster draft done.
2) Almost ready to start on a writing shed! Due to some well-timed luck with my family, we’ll be able to get me a shed here in the next month or so. Of course, we have another issue that’s popped up that is timely, so with all this shifting of stuff (and cleaning out) I’ll probably not be posting too much in the next few months. I am super excited about this, for I will finally be able to do more recordings, including maybe getting to start a podcast to expand on what I already do here in the blog. But that’ll still be a few months out.
3) I’m still looking into eBook expansion. I am still on KU for now, as I continue to look at options. There is Bookbaby, or I could just take my eBooks off KU and expand it that way via KDP. It’s a toss-up at this moment, but until I can do more research into it, we shall see. I am going to have a 50% off sale for both Destiny and Never Alone in June to celebrate the start of summer break and in line with me doing the first in-person event of the year.
The first in-person sale event for this year is coming in June! I’ll be at the Grove City Strawberry Festival on Friday and Saturday, June 12-16. I will have copies of both novels in paperback and hardcover, along with the goodies you get with your purchase. I am changing what freebie you get with Never Alone Hardcover. It was a cute poster of the cover, but with the cost of the prints as well as hard to transport, I am switching to magnets. I will still have the 3 posters so you’ll have a choice.

Pop Culture Corner:
TBR pile is getting smaller…
I’ve tossed two books in one day to the donation pile. The first one opened up the MC and friends going on about making a political angle with some things that just not only cringe but also dated it. The next one involved a teen having something done that was just…nope. I get imperfect characters, and showing things that teens deal with…but at the same time especially in the first book’s case, it was so preachy. It is very tiresome. I have another mystery I’m going to start here, so here’s hoping it more entertaining than the other two.
That’s all for now. As things get along, I’ll make sure to update as I can.
Lots of Love,
Dragonninjawriter
