Hey everyone! It was a good time at the Oil Fest in Titusville! Sold 3 paperbacks and 1 hardcover! There are still copies for sale at The Titusville Square Market, so if you missed seeing me, you can still pick up a copy and support not only an indie author but a small business!
My next event is going to be at the Annual Oil Region Festival of the Book! Warning now that my prices are going to be a little higher because I have to process everything myself. Also costs for table, etc. I hate to do so, but it is what it is. I’m only taking card or cash. Thanks for your support and understanding. There will be a bookmark for Destiny there, so come and see what I have.

                Other things
I officially pulled the 1st edition of Destiny’s Call to Arms. It was a bittersweet moment, but I will be redeeming myself, so it is what it is. The beta readers are going through it now, but that along with a few other issues, I might not get to release Destiny in September as I originally planned. I may have to push it back to October. Once I can give an official date, I will post it online and set up a pre-order, but it’s going to be a while.

My mom is fully recovered from her stroke! Thank you for all the love, prayers, and support.

First, R.I.P. to Misty and Jessie’s original voice actress, Rachael Lillis. She passed away because of breast cancer. It hurts to know that she passed away to such an awful thing at a young age. She was the voice of Pokémon, along with Veronica Taylor. I thank her for her amazing talent and the joy she gave me and the rest of the Pokémon fans.

                The end of an era
The My Hero Academia Manga ended. It was a big wave of emotions. I still remember watching the first episode on my lunch break when I was working in the library, at my basement desk. To hear All Might tell Deku he could be a hero too, made me cry. I felt for Deku, the feels he had trying to work to be a superhero, the same feeling I deal with trying to make it as a writer, but I never had any mentor I looked up to tell me I could do it. Yes, I have support, but it hits differently when it’s a person who has made it telling you that you, too, can do it. I’ve never forgotten that moment. My Hero Academia shot up to being one of my overall favorite Animes, right up there with Pokémon and Sailor Moon. As you know, this blog’s title is even a nod to my favorite superheroes.
No spoilers, but I am satisfied, mostly with the ending. I am annoyed with two little things, but they are minor and I am happy with the end of MHA. But needless to say, bring tissues.

                That’s all for now.
